What If? was created with intention.
The difference is our approach.
Let us show you what is possible using our Intentioned Design
and Intentioned Execution approach.
IDEA
We start with the end in mind; we ensure that we’ve answered your unique answer to the ‘What If?’ question. What if? . . . that question that you ask yourself when you sit back and wonder what could be. We identify potential courses of action, then verify their likely outcomes with objective data. Our goal is to fail early and fail fast on paper. To identify the best course of action rather than risk failing through trial and error.
VALIDATE
Hope is not a business strategy. We don't 'hope' our business solutions work—and neither should you. We build strategies to monitor performance into everything that we do.
DATA
No guessing or opinions here. We use reputable third-party business and industry data to evaluate each potential course of action. And there are always options. We use data to create a solid foundation on which to build or pivot your idea.
DESIGN
Increasingly today, business is a 'visual' experience. With this in mind, we consider and weave design into every aspect of our solutions rather than adding it on later. Whether you need a logo, a marketing piece, a website or a book, or some combination of these elements, they all receive the same attention to design detail through the entire process.
INTENTIONED DESIGN
TM
IDEA DATA DESIGN VALIDATION = INTENTIONED DESIGN
Intentioned Design (ID) is the process of expressing the business intention, the intended and measurable business outcome, throughout the entire solution design and implementation process.
Your story matters, and especially in the new economy, it must be authentic and consistent. We start by defining your niche (who you are talking to), your message (what you are saying), your underlying value (why you are saying it), and your expected results (what you want to happen).
VALIDATE
Time is money! Why wait until the end of the project to measure whether your message is working? There are plenty of real time data assessments, including online views, likes, shares, reviews, analytics, followers, click throughs, etc. If the message is working, great, do more of it! If not, let’s change it early on.
We use objective data to ‘test’ your message against industry, business, and consumer data sources to determine:
-
What are the industry trends?
-
What is your direct competition using?
-
What are the best design elements to drive attention?
-
What are the most effective social media platforms for you to be using?
-
Do you have a clear value proposition?
EXECUTE
No guesswork here. With a firm foundation created—message defined, prospects identified, preferences known, and a clear value proposition—execution becomes a matter of connecting the dots.
INTENTIONED EXECUTION
TM
MESSAGE DATA EXECUTION VALIDATION = INTENTIONED EXECUTION
Intentioned Execution (IE) is the process of capturing the business intent in the form of messaging and weaving it through every business asset from social media, to promotional material, to books and publications.
Consistency and authenticity matter.
WHAT OUR CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT OUR APPROACH

Working with Robin and Liz has been amazing! Because Robin takes the time to understand me and my business, she provides suggestions and support that are helpful, doable and profitable. I also worked with Liz to self-publish on Amazon, and because of her I have published more quickly and professionally than I could ever have done on my own. Their flexibility, availability, and passion for business are inspiring, and I recommend their services to anyone who has a business—new
or established.
—Amy Mihaly, Notes From a GAPS Practitioner Author,
Be Well Clinc
As an entrepreneur wearing many hats, with way too many irons in the fire,
I was wearing myself out and in need of direction. I knew what I loved, but I
didn’t know how to turn my passion into a successful business strategy.
After my first meeting with Robin, I could tell that I was in good hands. Besides her years of business experience, she exudes an energy which comes from her sincere desire to help others succeed. I felt so energized after each meeting at What If? Ideation, because these women believed in my potential even more than I did. They took the time to understand my niche, to listen to my dreams and helped set me on a course with a clear goal in mind. Because they are so welL-connected and believe in local businesses, they have connected me to others who are helping as well.
Liz and Robin are the reason I am now a published author, with plans to continue creating. Their guidance and encouragement was priceless, yet they made their services affordable and worked with my limited budget. I wish I had sought out
their help sooner! I can’t say enough about their value in our community!
—Sarah Sailer, Author of the Benjamin Franklin and
Indie Next Generation Award winning book, A Thrifty Good Life
I am beyond lucky to have found Liz and Robin at What If? Ideation! I worked with Liz to develop my company’s marketing and branding material. Liz showed such dedication and enthusiasm for my project, and the final deliverables reflected that.
I thoroughly enjoyed our brainstorming sessions and how Liz was able to develop and design exactly what was in my head. It was like she was a mind reader! Liz and Robin are an invaluable resource to any company.
